Over the past decade, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has successfully constructed one of the most coherent national political narratives in contemporary India. Anchored in themes of nationalism, leadership centrality, welfare delivery, and cultural identity, this narrative has delivered repeated electoral victories across multiple states. However, electoral performance across India remains uneven. In several deeply regional states, the national narrative does not translate into structural dominance.
